The NZ Transport Agency is currently investigating a programme for future investment in the state highway between Auckland and Whangarei.
Over the next thirty years the corridor between Northland and Auckland will be improved so that travellers experience a safer and more reliable journey.
An Auckland to Whangarei corridor plan will be produced later this year which will confirm the projects to be constructed along the state highway.
This will include some things we can do in the short term and other projects which will require further investigation and development.
We are now seeking public input into transport issues and opportunities to inform this programme of future investment.
Feedback will close on Friday 13 May 2016.
This page is specific to the Auckland to Whangarei corridor study for future transport investment.
