The highway is now closed between Kawatiri Junction and Korere with a detour that will add around 40 minutes to journeys. Please allow extra time or consider delaying your journey, the NZ Transport Agency advises. More information here.
Southbound drivers will be detoured onto Korere Tophouse Road and State Highway 63 St Arnaud. Northbound drivers: the reverse direction.
