These case studies are examples of complete activity management plans (AMPs) which take the business case approach, with useful supporting materials. A review of the CODC 2015/16 AMP Executive Summary by NZTA against the Business Case Approach provides insight into what a Strategic Case section of an AMP should focus on. This is a good reminder of the importance of the Point of Entry discussion between NZTA and RCAs to work out what they need to do to embed the principals of the Business Case Approach in the AMP, to right size effort and identify the needed resources.
