When considering intersection alternatives, whereWhere cyclists will be present andat a cycling-friendly designroundabout and it is not feasible, alternativespossible to a roundaboutlimit visibility and reduce vehicle speeds or provide alternative off-road paths that would be acceptable to most cyclists (ie including those valuing directness), alternative intersection controls (particularly traffic signals) should be considered, taking into account the needs of all users.
