A slip at Fox Hills/ Omoeroa, between the two glaciers, closed one lane of the road this morning but the road is still open.
A slip at Cemetery Hill, Ross, south of Hokitika earlier today has been cleared.
The State Highway is open but drivers are advised to anticipate delays and take extreme care, said NZ Transport Agency Journey Manager Lee Wright. There is no widespread flooding at this time.
